The store owner, Kelly Chakerian is a wife to Steve and mama to her 4 boys. She first saw the property as she and her husband were looking for an office for him in Old Town Murrieta. As soon as she saw the cottage, the welcoming Dutch doors and the location in Old Town, God planted a vision for a home shoppe.

Since then, her husband did find an office next door :) and the shoppe is now finished with thoughtfully curated items for all the places that you abide. Home is a special place AND a feeling of tradition, community, belonging and value. Kelly felt led by the scripture in John 15:5 which in turn became the name of the shoppe and vision behind the vine in the logo which her sister in law drew by hand.

"I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

She feels that Abide has been built by God's vision and knows that apart from Christ, none of this could have happened. Her prayer is to be a blessing to her community of Murrieta through Abide Home Shoppe, and to celebrate all the places that you abide.
